Sanctuaria – Wild Tapas
Experience Sanctuaria Wild Tapas: a unique blend of regional ingredients and international flavors. Sanctuaria is a place where people gather over amazing local food, unique craft cocktails and incredible atmosphere.
We are truly a “Sanctuary in the city”, complete with lush herbal, botanical and vegetable gardens surrounding a charming and expansive outdoor patio with 19th century French conservatory and Belgian Gazebo suitable for warm weather outdoor weddings.
In the dining room, you will be delighted by the flavors of Latin and South American regional cuisine – served with a modern twist, using local food suppliers.  As the seasons change, so will your dining and cocktail experience. We pride ourselves on using the freshest fruits and vegetables available – some from our very own garden, as well as other local farms in Missouri & Illinois.
Our unique cocktail selections are fresh and handcrafted to order by our well-trained mixologists.  A large portion of the garden surrounding our patio and conservatory is botanicals and herbal ingredients for cocktails, tinctures, barrel-aged spirits, and more! With a standard cocktail list of 150 selections ranging from classic to contemporary, plus seasonal cocktails and specials, you are sure to find out why we’ve been called “Cocktail Mecca”.
We display many 17th and 18th century pieces of art from churches around the world alongside modern art pieces like the sculpture proudly featured behind our bar.  Prayers over 450 years old are painted on metal and in the main dining room. Come see for yourself.
