Mancy's Steakhouse

Toledo's most popular steak and seafood restaurant since 1921.  We age and butcher our beef on premise.  From our bread to soups, sauces and dressings, everything is from scratch.  Turn of the century (early 1900's not 2000's!) atmosphere with Tiffany shades, rich mahogany booths and white table cloths accent our restaurant.  Add all this together with a professional service staff and we offer a unique dining experience.
History-
Established in 1921.
Our grandfather, Gus Mancy, founded this restaurant in 1921 at our same location.  Gus immigrated from Greece in 1917 and worked in a steel mill in Akron to save money.  He opened the restaurant with his cousin Nick Graham.  The partners each worked 12 hour shifts 7 days a week!  Gus never retired, he worked his last day in 1989 at the age of 91 years old.
Gus and Michael Mancy M.
Business Owner-
Gus and Michael Mancy are third generation owners of Mancy's Steakhouse.  Both worked at the restaurant while growing up, learning every position.  Before taking over any managerial responsibilities they both attended college and work several years in the industry as managers for large restaurant organizations.  The best education did not come from college or managing other restaurants but came from our grandfather and fathers (John and George, 2nd generation owners) who were twin brothers.
