Dear Friends & Guests, Beginning August 1, we will shift our menu format to offer a choice of two tasting menus in our dining room each night, and our bar will offer a separate à la carte menu. We will no longer offer an a la carte menu in the dining room. Instead, guests can choose each night from either a five-course or seven course chef’s tasting menu. We have always felt that the tasting menu is the highest expression of what we do. It’s the foundation on which we built our restaurant, back when Art of the Table was a two-person operation in a tiny space, with Dustin doing all of the cooking and dishwashing. It’s our hope that this shift will help us honor our roots while continuing to give curious diners a range of choices when they visit our restaurant. Our new tasting menus will offer diners the choice of 5 courses for $105 and the 'chef's tasting' for $125. The chef’s tasting menu is typically seven courses. All tasting menus will include, in addition to the set number of courses, an amuse bouche and intermezzo for a rich and relaxed dining experience. And of course, there will always be wine! We’ll offer a wine/libations pairing option for each tasting menu. If you have any questions about our offerings before you visit our restaurant, we encourage you to give us a call at 206-282-0942. Or, make a reservation and come check out our new menu offerings for yourself. We’d love to see you and show you what local ingredients, elevated, means to us. Cheers, Shannon Van Horn & Dustin Ronspies Owners, Art of the Table
Our Restaurant Art of the Table is a neighborhood restaurant located on Stone Way North between Wallingford and Fremont in Seattle. Since 2007, we have been the restaurant in Seattle to celebrate food and those who dedicate their lives to raising, growing, foraging and catching our produce in the Pacific Northwest. With an elegant dining room, a 10-seat “chef’s table” and vibrant open kitchen, Art of the Table offers an experience that is both elevated and relaxing for you, our guest. We begin every night of service with the goal of celebrating the diversity of ingredients that our neighboring farmlands, waterways and mountains have to offer.
The menu at Art of the Table, crafted by Chef Dustin Ronspies, changes regularly to reflect a full range of seasonal, local produce. We make everything from scratch, and collaborate directly with local farmers and producers to select ingredients. We offer à la carte and chef’s tasting menus every night. Both menus are designed to leave you feeling thrilled and satisfied, however we highly recommend our tasting menu as the best expression of what we do.
